Hi all,

Thank you so much for registering for the #StopLine3 Teach-in and Fundraiser, hosted by 350 Seattle and Mazaska Talks on March 4. Over the course of the hour, a powerful line-up of speakers provided an overview of what’s happening right now on the frontlines and how to support, we sent hundreds of emails and left dozens of voicemails demanding that Wall Street cut ties with Line 3, and we collectively raised more than $6,000 for Camp Migizi and Giniw Collective!

If you missed the event or just want to rewatch any parts of it, here is the recording on YouTube. You can find the slide deck we shared attached or linked here. Sending lots of gratitude to our guest speakers: Taysha Martineau, the founder of Line 3 resistance camp Camp Migizi, 350.org founder Bill McKibben, and Line 3 youth intervenor Akilah Sanders-Reed.

We’re now just a few thousand dollars away from our goal of raising $10,000 for frontline resistance camps Giniw Collective and Camp Migizi. Can you donate to get us over the line? Please also share this link with your friends and family and communities over the next week, as we’re keeping the fundraiser open through Friday, March 12: http://bit.ly/350SLine3Fund. (Note: if you donated during the fundraiser itself, you have been entered to win #StopLine3 swag, so look out for a potential email with details about that!)
If you’d like to get involved in solidarity organizing here in the Seattle area, sign up here, and we’ll be in touch with upcoming opportunities. Minnesota 350 has also put together a comprehensive document with many ways to plug in from going to the frontlines to taking action from afar: On-Ramps for the Movement To Stop Line 3.
Whether it is donating or making calls or heading to the frontlines, we hope you’ll join us in taking action for Indigenous sovereignty and climate justice.
In solidarity,
Sulakshana, on behalf of 350 Seattle
P.S. One quick thing you can do is follow the frontlines on social media and amplify what’s happening! Here’s a list of Indigenous-led organizations that are leading resistance on the ground to start with: Giniw Collective, Camp MigiziRISE Coalition, Gitchigumi Scouts, Honor the Earth, Red Lake Treaty Camp, and Indigenous Environmental Network.
