Last week, we hosted a virtual rally where we delivered over 200,000 petition signatures to the Biden Administration demanding that they stop the Line 3 pipeline. Despite our mounting pressure, the Biden Administration hasn’t made any moves to halt construction. It’s unacceptable.
We’re escalating our efforts to #StopLine3 by asking 350 members like you to call your representative in Congress asking them to speak out against Line 3 and pressure Biden to do the same. If thousands of constituents come together to sound the alarm, we can put pressure on Congress to take action and influence Biden’s decision.
Only a handful of Congress members, including Reps. Ilhan Omar [MN-05], Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez [NY-14], Jamaal Bowman [NY-16], and Rashida Tlaib [MI-13] have publicly spoken against Line 3, but if we’re going to stop the pipeline, we need more members to speak out.
The more constituents in Rep. Schrier’s district who demand that she take action, the better our chances to elevate this fight to the national level and put pressure on the Biden Administration to respond and take immediate action. We can’t do this alone. We’re asking for your help, Jeanne.
