The 2021 Washington state legislative all-virtual session is wrapped — and so, therefore, is the 350 Washington CAT (Civic Action Team).

The CAT team, over 20 great volunteers across the state, followed bills and created easy actions for CAT members to take. This year we focused on bold and necessary climate bills, racial justice bills, and progressive tax policies. We did a lot!

Take a look at our final numbers:

43: Total bills CAT advocated for in 2021
408: CAT members who took action
519: Climate calls made to legislators!
12,227: Climate emails sent to legislators!
5,703: Signed in to support
18,596: Total legislator contacts made by the Civic Action Team in 2021!

Check out our End of Session Wrap-up, which lists which bills passed and which didn’t. We’re thankful for the many good bills signed into law…yet know there is much more work to do.

This was our second year as a 350 WA Network campaign and we’re looking forward to having a celebration! Please join us for a virtual wrap party where we’ll reflect on bills that passed and those that didn’t.
