Thank you for your emails, calls and donations that have inspired congressional champions to make the Arctic Cultural and Coastal Plain Protection Act a priority.

Tomorrow, a panel of Gwich’in leaders, veterans and scientists will testify before Congress about the importance of protecting the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. They will speak about threats facing the Porcupine caribou herd and its importance to a subsistence lifestyle, about protecting delicate polar bear habitat, and about the importance of safeguarding a place wild enough to heal the deepest traumas.

If you’d like to watch the hearing, we’ll post a link to the live stream on our homepageFacebook and Twitter on Tuesday (tomorrow) morning. You can also follow us on Twitter as we live-tweet from the legislative hearing.

As soon as we can, we’ll share the most powerful highlights from this event, made possible with the help of your voices and donations.

Thank you,

Adam
Executive Director
