Hi all –
We’re off-and-running with our deliveries of the greenwashing “awards” to Chase branches across the country. So far, we’ve confirmed 40 Chase branches in 8 states have received the award from concerned community members.
Several of you have reported having lengthy, meaningful conversations with branch managers. A few of you have even reported that the branch manager has made a promise to send the RAN report and/or Common Dreams article to the executive team. Our friends at Climate Action Rhode Island also had this nice piece published about their greenwashing deliveries & Stop the Money Pipeline sent this media advisory to several hundred reporters. I also sent an email to Jamie Dimon today with nearly 700 of his branch managers CC’d to explain, in detail, why his bank is receiving this award!
I know actions like this can seem small compared to the scale of the problem, however, when conversations with bank managers, like the ones several of you have already had, happen all over the country they can add up to make a very real difference!
Our goal is to deliver “awards” to at least 100 branches by the end of Friday. So I’m crossing my fingers that several of you will be able to deliver the “award” today or tomorrow.
